Harrison William Bradford’s 20 years were marked by a deep love for family, learning, faith, friendship and the Texas A&M community. Though his life ended unexpectedly on May 22, 2026, the Dallas native left memories that continue to live on among those who knew him.
Born December 12, 2005, Harrison was the son of Steven Dale Bradford and Katrina Marie Posta Bradford and the older brother of Charlton O’Neal Bradford. His family described him as a “miracle baby” who brought tremendous joy into their lives.
Harrison graduated with honors from Highland Park High School in May 2024 before attending Texas A&M University. He studied political science at the Bush School of Government & Public Service and earned a place on the Dean’s List every semester. He was also a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon’s Texas Mu chapter, where he formed close friendships with his fraternity brothers.
Outside academics, Harrison enjoyed Aggie sports, intramural activities, reading, history and spending time with friends and family. His loved ones also remembered his strong Christian faith and his willingness to encourage and support others.
Harrison died after his vehicle was struck by a TEXRail train in Fort Worth, according to reports citing the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office. He was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital, where he later died.
Texas A&M honored Harrison during its September 1 Silver Taps ceremony, a solemn tradition recognizing students who have died while enrolled at the university.
His life was brief, but its meaning was not. Harrison will be remembered through his family, friendships, faith, academic dedication and the community he helped strengthen. For those who loved him, his memory remains a lasting reminder of a young man whose kindness and promise touched many lives.
